If you’re like most of us, your kids’ summer eating habits were a little...iffy. So, how do you get back on the right track this school year?
- Pack a lunch at night - mornings are always rushed, so stay awake a little later to pack smarter.
- Say goodbye to the potato/corn chips in favor of a healthier alternative like veggie chips.
- Veggies, veggies, veggies... plus a little low fat dipping sauce.
- Skip the bread and wrap those sandwiches with soft tortillas, pita or even lettuce.
- Talk to your child about which meals are working and which aren’t. No use preparing it if they won’t eat it.
